My Training
I am a state-certified technical translator for the English language. I completed my comprehensive training as technical translator at the SDI, a renowned language school in Munich, in 2006. After that I enrolled at the School of Languages of Salford University in order to extend my practical-oriented education and top it up with a Master's Degree in translating in 2008.
Since January 2009 I have been working as a freelance technical translator and private tutor.
My Language Combination
I translate into the languages
- English and
- German;
but I mainly translate into my native tongue, which is the "natural" direction.
In my second foreign language
- French
I offer private tuition to school children.
My Specialised Subjects
I predominantly translate technical texts on mechanical and automotive engineering, machine and plant engineering and cognate subjects.
